Japan-Takayama

Small, traditional mountain town. I wanted to see this city that is known for saki and Hida beef. They refer to this region as the Japan Alps. I enjoyed my 2 days in this sleepy town. Especially since I was heading to the bustling capital of Tokyo after. I went on a Saki tour, followed by dinner where I tried the Hida beef, which just melted in my mouth! Explored the morning market for snacks and trinkets and explored this small town. Enjoy my photo journey! 

I took the bullet train and took pictures of the countryside on my way from Kyoto to Takayama. The tour guide was waiting for us at the station where we took the Saki tour and he dropped us off at a restaurant for dinner so we could try Hida beef.

Walking around town and stumbled on a yummy sushi restaurant.
