Costa Rica, Monteverdi (Cloud Forest)

Heading into the mountains to the Cloud Forest. The biodiversity in this area is supposed to be unmatched. They say 6.5% of the worlds biodiversity is in this small country of Costa Rica. Can't wait to explore.

I thought I would be afraid of the hanging bridges, but it wasn't bad at all. There were 8 in total.

The entire area in the mountains was just beautiful! So lush and green. Seeing the birds and caterpillars, centipedes was nice. I heard the howler monkeys, but we didn't see any. I truly enjoyed this low key morning hike through the cloud forest. I'm glad I did it.
