Laos isn't as developed as the other southeast asian countries, but there is a lot of charm here and the people are very welcoming. The new Laos Chinese Railroad is open which made it very easy to get around the country. I also just took pictures around town to give you an idea of what they look like. And the pickup truck with the covered back is the local taxi.
A few of the temples in Luang Prabang as well as the night market and of course food tour.
And in VangViang I took a hot air balloon ride-fun!
I went to the night market after the balloon ride. Got a yummy Roti Cake(Lotee Pancake- or Crepes) with banana, Nutella, powdered sugar and condensed milk-absolutely delicious!!!
Not that much going on in Vientiane...which was a little disappointing as this is the capital. But I found some good restaurants and the people were really friendly and helpful. I found an authentic Chilean restaurant, French restaurant and gelato shop.
I think for the whole country you could get it done in 5-6 days. However, if you want to open a business, this is a developing country and there are a lot of possibilities here. And a lot of people speak English. Probably because a lot of the business owners are foreigners and are there for all the opportunities and good business environment. Just food for thought.
