After leaving Tanzania, I flew to Uganda. I was picked up by this wonderful driver that got me set up with private tours(through his brothers company). I'm in for a full week of exploration!

The first day was a full day touring Kampala. I opted for the bodaboda(Motorcycle) tour. Traffic is CRAZY!

First stop: Gaddafi National Mosque and view of the 7 hills/city center.

Then on to Behai Temple

Then we were off to the Kings Palace(Built by Idi Amin). The torture chamber was horrible!

Quick ride by Independence monument and freedom square. Really quick stop by the most famous slum in Uganda. If any of you know the dancers on YouTube-Ghetto Kids- this is where they are from. That's it for today-tomorrow, the Equator!
