Next up is central Vietnam. Here it's a lot quieter, food is spicier and the people are still wonderful! When I saw pictures of Vietnam and the beautiful beaches, it was from central Vietnam. I was so happy to get here! From the bamboo basket boats in the coconut forest, to Hue City and DaNang city itself, I thoroughly enjoyed central Vietnam!

So the first day in central Vietnam I was in DaNang and went to the beach. Then the next day Hue City, the ancient capital of Vietnam. I visited Khai Dinh Tomb, the burial place of a king from the Nguyen Dynasty. Then the Thien Mu Pagoda, a historical relic. And had a fabulous lunch of traditional food.

Shots around town in DaNang.

Hue city below.

Being a coastal city, DaNang is known for it's seafood, so I treated myself to a lobster dinner that night-seperate from the tour. Yummy!

Imperial City is below...this is where 13 Nguyen Dynasty kings and their concubines lived and worked.

The next day was Bana Hill which is am amusement park/family entertainment park. It had 1 roller coaster, 3-4-& 5D movie theater, wine cellar, beer brewery, basically something for everyone. Not to mention the cable cars to get up to and from the park. A nice way to spend the day, for sure.

Unfortunately there was a typhoon while I was visiting, so a lot of the pictures from central Vietnam it was raining. I still appreciated the area.

Even though raining, I still went to the Coconut Forest and experienced the bamboo basket boat-what a lot of fun that was!

The performers. There was a party out on the river-even Karaoke!

After Coconut Forest I went to a restaurant that is famous in Hoi An or their Beef bone, clam porridge. I must admit, at first I wasn't going to try it, but I'm so glad I did! It as delicious!!!

Memories show(History of Hoi An) below.

I had to cut my trip short, but I plan to go back and finish southern Vietnam next spring. I can't wait to see it! I hope you enjoyed looking through the pictures and video's as much as I enjoyed experiencing it and capturing those special memories.
