So after Victoria Falls, I returned to South Africa- to Cape Town specifically. It reminded me a lot of Southern California- Orange County. Beautiful beaches, upscale shopping centers and tons of restaurants. There's also wineries that produce wine and gin. Beautiful countryside where I took the wine trolley and toured 5 different wineries. I found some really delicious wines and it was a absolutely wonderful day. I even met a lady that lived about 30 minutes from me, also traveling alone. Small world!
I started out city center before moving out to the beach. Table mountain, Botanical Garden, government buildings and museums. Look at the white squirrel up on the left.
Wine and gin. They froze fruit and spices to add to the gin. Really good! The bottom is the wine trolley that took me around to the 5 different wineries. This was 2 of the wineries. The other will be below.
These wineries seemed more like a golf course than winery. It was winter, so no grapes, just the vines. I went to these after my house sit, what a difference a month makes! But the sit was by the beach, so that was really nice. Look at the size of the trees! Planted in 1698.(Bottom row)
The beach and boardwalk by where I was and the neighborhood. Winter in South Africa.
Overall, it was a good 2 months in Cape Town. I met some really cool people that went out of their way to show me around (Thanks Patricia and friends!) And this is the couple that I did the pet sit for. Wonderful people, Anton and Ansie!

I know I will return to South Africa. I just have to wait a year until my ban is over...
